missingWrote a review on Jan 02partial ocean viewmodern decoraverage bed
The King Room was decent but definitely on the smaller side. The partial ocean view was a nice touch, and the decor was modern and inviting. The bed was okay, not the best I've slept on, so that was a bit of a letdown. The bathroom was spacious and clean, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a comfy stay but just a couple of small things could've made it better.

The Marriott provided an excellent business environment, with efficient staff who facilitated my meeting setup and ensured all equipment was functioning. The King Room Partial Ocean View was comfortable, offering stunning views that inspired productivity. The hotel's location near Fashion Island made it easy to find dining options after work hours.
Wi-Fi connection was weaker than expected in my room.

What a fantastic stay! The spa offered a relaxing massage and the saltwater pool was a refreshing escape after a long day. Just a heads up, the room service seemed a bit slow at times, but overall, everything else was top-notch! 🌊

Decent fit for a short stay in Newport Beach with good value. The deck around the pool was amazing with lots of seating. Look for free parking along the street if you can find it.

The shabu-shabu I had at the hotel restaurant blew me away! I was totally vibing with the awesome decor around me and loved the warm welcome by Betsy during check-in. She totally set the tone for a fab stay!
They weren't kidding about the dirt—literally, the elevators could use a good scrub and I felt like I was on hold forever when trying to get breakfast, which took way too long. On top of that, small room drama made it a little less chill.

missingWrote a review on Oct 08safe locationattentive serviceresort fee limitations
The location is excellent for accessing nearby attractions. The welcoming gesture of free bottled water at check-in was much appreciated, and the hotel felt very secure.
The resort fee items would have been more enjoyable with better weather.

missingWrote a review on Oct 02ocean viewmodern decorodd shower
The room was cozy with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the golf course. Size-wise, it was a bit tight for two, but it worked. The decor felt modern and fresh, which was nice. However, the bathroom was really small, with barely any counter space, and the shower situation was definitely odd, having a window facing the bed. Not ideal for privacy. Overall, the comfy vibes made it enjoyable despite those quirks.

missingWrote a review on Sept 06modern hotelattentive staffsmall roominconvenient parkinglacking bathroom counter space
The modern and clean hotel provides a lovely atmosphere, with free bottled water at check-in and attentive staff. While the Sicilian pastries at the café were exquisite, the room was quite small and the bathroom lacked counter space. The valet parking at $60 daily was inconvenient, and the layout made access cumbersome, especially for those not attending a convention. Despite its charm, the overall experience felt less valuable given the price.

My family and I had an amazing stay with incredible views and fantastic amenities! The flavored water in the lobby was refreshing every time we returned. We especially loved the generous fruit and cheese platter waiting in our room, making us feel so special. We’ll definitely be back for another memorable experience!

The ambiance felt promising, and the staff was genuinely welcoming, making efforts to assist. However, the early check-in was poorly handled, leading to unnecessary delays, and the room fell short of expectations, especially regarding noise and cleanliness. Overall, it was a mixed bag, but I might give it another shot.
